GeneralSummary
Under the general supervision of the Program Manager I, the Program Training Specialist supports, delivers, and implements training curriculum to assigned teams and departments. This role partners with the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) team to assess current and future training needs, ensuring the application of best practices and compliance with organizational policies and external regulations.
This position is full time onsite, 40 hours per week and will work a traditional schedule.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWithin a team environment, this position will perform the following responsibilities:
Training Development (50%)- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.
- Design and develop engaging training materials and programs.
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand team-specific training requirements.
- Stay current with trends in learning and development.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Evaluate and enhance training effectiveness.
- Implement e-learning tools and technologies.
- Provide coaching and ongoing learning support.
- Track training outcomes and manage training records.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, with a strong emphasis on onboarding and work process training. Experience in implementing successful onboarding programs that accelerate new hire time-to-productivity.
- OR any combination of education and experience which would enable the candidate to successfully perform the functions of the position.
- Technical Requirements:
- Intermediate proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Proficiency in various training delivery methods, including classroom training, e-learning, webinars, and blended learning approaches.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) for content delivery, tracking, and reporting.
- Travel: This position requires 10% travel. Travel will involve leading training and attending meetings, events, and conferences. Staff may choose any mode of transportation. Drivers must become approved drivers with CCRC before driving on behalf of CCRC.
- Work Schedule: Full‑time onsite schedule.
- Work Environment: Office work environment; ambient temperature, moderate noise levels, indoor.
- Background check required. As a grant‑funded Agency supporting Children and Family Services, CCRC conducts background checks commensurate with the role to verify candidate qualifications (criminal history, employment history/experience, education, reference checks) and ensure grant compliance. Specific roles may have additional verification/clearance to the standard background check as part of the recruitment and selection process, including:
