Job Description
Airframe Structural Design Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) responsible for delivering cutting‑edge aircraft structural solutions.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Airframe Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for turning complex aerodynamic concepts into reliable, manufacturable structures that enable mission success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creation and modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
- Contributing to the development, testing, and validation of aircraft structural designs.
- Assisting in the creation of system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.
- Coordinating with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and interfacing with external IPTs and suppliers.

Further Information About This OpportunityThe selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering
- Experience with CATIA V5
- Experience creating and/or modifying drawings
- US‑DOD Top Secret clearance
- Experience with Fibersim or 3DX composites design workbench
- Experience with metallic and composite design
- Experience with 3D model based design definition
- Experience with determinant structural assembly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team‑based environment

Pay RateNational Pay Statement:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 – $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate's final work location. (Detailed factors considered).
Premium Pay Statement:
The annual base salary range in major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $98,300 – $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate's final work location.
