As the Systems Engineer Senior - Level 3 you will be responsible for translating ambitious concepts into verifiable system designs, driving the integration of cutting-edge engineering disciplines, and delivering results in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading system architecture and trade-study activities for advanced aircraft concepts.
- Driving Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and tool adoption.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams to execute agile development cycles.
- Managing multiple concurrent assignments while maintaining technical rigor and schedule commitments.

This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Math. Systems engineering experience to include but not limited to requirements tracking, risk management, architecture evaluation, airworthiness. verification or validation. Aerospace industry experience

Strong oral & written communication skills and analytical thinking ability Must have the ability to work independently as well as being a team player and willing to support other team members on a proactive basis in any capacity needed. Must engage professionally and effectively with senior management. Must be able to successfully meet deadlines and execute to a strict timeline. Final Top Secret Clearance investigation within the last 5 years with ability to or in the process of obtaining a Top Secret SAR/SAP clearance.

Experience in Mission Systems (MS) system design and development Experience executing in a digital engineering environment (i.e., MBSE and digital twin)

Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, 3DX, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements Work experience with operational modeling tools Experience developing a system architecture Experience using software tools (such as MS Excel, JIRA and Access)

Experience with systems engineering processes
