You will be the Project Engineer Staff, UAS & Attritable Systems - Level 4 for the Advanced Development Programs - UAS & Attritable Systems team which is responsible for developing next-generation unmanned aircraft and attritable systems that keep people safe and solve complex challenges. What You Will Be Doing As the Project Engineer Staff, UAS & Attritable Systems - Level 4 you will be responsible for driving the technical execution of UAS and attritable system projects from concept through test.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Plan, formulate, and coordinate technical activities across program management and engineering to create novel air-vehicle designs.
* Collaborate with multiple business units and stakeholder organizations to define and execute UAS development roadmaps.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve design and test challenges to maintain schedule and performance targets.
* Document technical decisions, maintain configuration control, and communicate status to senior leadership.
* Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in systems engineering. Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience releasing drawings in Catia V5 and/or 3DX
- Experience with 3D printing.
Desired
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience as a lead designer for structures or vehicle systems.
- Experience working with the Conceptual Design organization.
- Experience in Flight Test.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
