Lockheed Martin Skunk Works and its ISR & UAS line-of-business, seeks a motivated and enthusiastic full-time Early Career Survivability Engineer candidate to join the Signature Management & Survivability Team.

Specifically, we seek to identify a candidate with expertise or willingness to learn one of the following disciplines:
- Aircraft stealth signature reduction and low observables (LO) phenomenology
- Radar cross section (RCS) susceptibility
- Electromagnetics (EM), computational electromagnetics (CEM)
- LO project/program management Typical responsibilities may include:
- Responsible for performing, analyzing, and communicating vehicle signature predictions using Unix-based codes and tools.
- Engagement in the research, design, computational electromagnetic modeling, fabricating, and testing of advanced electromagnetic metamaterials.
- Responsible for planning, performing, post-processing, and communicating the results of laboratory, field, flight, and vehicle signature measurements.
- Writing and using scripts to batch analysis and post-processing. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of working in a lab environment and hands on build experience. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Optics, or related technical major - Experience working in a lab environment or hands on build experience - Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance - Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

- Active TS//SCI Security Clearance

- Experience with radar cross section reduction (RCSR) or radio-frequency (RF) antenna design/integration - Knowledge of RADAR, RF materials, RF material measurements - Programming with C/C++, Java, Fortran, Matlab, Python - CAD software literacy for model cleanup and meshing

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $62,700 - $110,630. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
