Minimum of 5 years Non-Destructive Inspection Testing experience and documented previous NAS-410 Level II Training and OJT in PT, MT, UT, ET, RT, ST, IRT.
MUST be certified in Radiograph, Ultrasonic, and Penetrant.
Must have interim secret clearance to start.

The ChallengeAs an NDT Specialist Senior you will focus on Non‑destructive Inspection (NDI) efforts, providing expertise to critical programs in Advanced Development and contributing improvements for the site.
A Day In The LifeIn Palmdale, California, you will work with a team of NDT Inspectors certified in all NDI disciplines. On any given day you may:
- Set up and operate various types of computerized and state‑of‑the‑art nondestructive test equipment.
- Work in multiple NDI disciplines.
- Participate in hands‑on training and development of NDI techniques.
Physical demands vary by platform and include standing, walking, climbing, overhead work, lifting up to 30 lbs, and use of vibrating tools. You should be able to work at heights, use stairs or ladders, and handle awkward positions. Regular attendance and the ability to work any shift are required.
Desired Skills- Aerospace experience.
- Ability to conduct OJT for trainees.
- Penetrant and magnetic particle experience in an aerospace setting.
- Ability to develop written techniques and procedures for approval by an NDT Level III.
- Must be able to demonstrate and pass general, specific, and practical examinations in the above methods.
- Experience in robotic‑operated NDI equipment preferred.
- Experience in magnetic particle, eddy current, shearography, and thermography testing.
- Experience in NDI testing of composite structures, metals, bonded assemblies, and welds.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications:
PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and computerized workstations. - Must have experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- GD&T knowledge.
This is an onsite full‑time position. The work associated with this position will be performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
