Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related STEM degree
- Working knowledge of CATIA V5, 3DExperience, or similar CAD experience.
- Experience with detail part / assembly design.
- Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- The candidate is not expected to be an expert, but should have knowledge in the fields of technical design and fabrication of metallic/composites materials.
- Experience with design/integration of air vehicle platform(s) or aerospace components.
You will be the Mechanical Design Engineer Sr - Skunk works for the Skunk works team which is responsible for delivering high‑impact mechanical designs that enable next‑generation electromagnetic and RF systems.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Mechanical Design Engineer Sr - Skunk works you will be responsible for delivering high‑impact mechanical designs that enable next‑generation electromagnetic and RF systems.
Your Responsibilities Will Include- Design electromagnetic/RF components and antennas.
- Develop radomes and support structures for flight‑qualified hardware.
- Engineer composite and metallic components/structures.
- Create full‑scale RCS/RF test fixtures.
- Provide technical support for classified activities.

You are a seasoned mechanical design professional with deep expertise in RF and electromagnetic hardware. You thrive in fast‑paced, highly classified environments and bring a collaborative, solution‑focused mindset. Your experience with composite and metallic structures, as well as test fixture development, positions you to make immediate impact on cutting‑edge projects.
Further Information About This OpportunityMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Desired Skills- Experience with mechanical design of Electromagnetic/RF components, electrical packaging, power system layout, and circuit board design.
- General knowledge in fundamental EM theories.
- Experience in design for additive manufacturing.
- Experience managing various programmatics of projects (schedule, costs, procurement activity).
