What You Will Be DoingAs the Systems Engineer - Skunk Works you will be responsible for supporting the team that integrates and validates mission‑system functions across lab, flying‑test‑bed, and flight‑test environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop test requirements and detailed procedures based on system specifications.
- Execute integration and test activities in laboratory settings and evaluate system performance on flying test‑beds.
- Support mission‑system flight‑test evaluations and report results to stakeholders.
- Interface with engineers, pilots, and program leadership using strong communication skills.
- Apply expertise in modern software‑intensive mission‑system architectures and understand military aircraft functionality.

-This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
This role requires up to 10-20% travel based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
- Experience with Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test background
- Experience with System Development Life Cycle execution and best practices on software and hardware‑based systems
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Experience in software life cycle logistics, including knowledge of build paradigms, merge request processes, and dependency/artifact management
- Experience in creating release documents, and low‑to‑high transfer logistics
- Experience with automation and CI/CD environments, including automation tools, Gitlab/Bamboo runners, and YAML
- Experience with CAMEO

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,400 - $129,260.
