Description
You will be the Low Observables Engineer Sr Staff for the Low Observables (Signature Management & Survivability) team which is responsible for advancing stealth and survivability technologies.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Low Observables Engineer Sr Staff you will be responsible for leading the end‑to‑end maturation of low observable technologies from concept through production. You will drive technical strategy, coordinate multidisciplinary efforts, and represent the team to senior leadership and government forums.
Your Responsibilities- Perform, analyze, and communicate vehicle signature predictions using Unix‑based codes and tools.
- Lead signature‑reduction trade studies and optimization campaigns for platform‑level and component‑level designs.
- Plan and execute laboratory measurements of material coupons to determine physical, electrical, and environmental properties.
- Develop and test advanced electromagnetic metamaterials for low observable platforms.
- Write and maintain scripts for batch analysis and post‑processing to support rapid design iteration.

Further Information About This OpportunityMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical degree, plus 8+ years of experience in RCS/LO technology; or Master’s degree with 6+ years; or PhD with 4+ years.
- Professional experience in RCS, LO technology, RF, CEM simulations, or electromagnetics.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance or TS//SCI.
- Recognized experience in low observables (LO), survivability, or susceptibility.
- Experience with radar cross section reduction (RCSR) or radio‑frequency (RF) antenna design/integration.
- Expertise in LO modeling and predictions using Computational Electromagnetics (CEM), Method of Moments (MoM), Xpatch, SENTRi, or HFSS.
- Experience with LO integration / multi‑discipline air vehicle systems design.
- Experience in RCS range testing.
- Experience with LO materials and integration onto physical platforms.
- Knowledge of RADAR, RF materials, and RF material measurements.
- Experience in program and project management of signature technology IRAD & CRAD projects.
- Programming in C/C++, Java, Fortran, Matlab, or Python.
- CAD software literacy for model cleanup and meshing.
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
