At Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, we are looking for a full‑time Early Career Radio Frequency Engineer to join our RF Engineering Team, responsible for delivering high‑performance RF and microwave solutions.
Responsibilities- Perform RF and microwave measurements (insertion loss, VSWR, antenna radiation, radar cross‑section) using VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, and antenna measurement systems.
- Fabricate antenna prototypes and assemble/test RF/microwave hardware with hand tools, small machine equipment, and advanced software tools.
- Collect and analyze measurement data, producing clear reports of test and computational results for internal stakeholders.
- Support project milestones, including extended or odd‑hour shifts and overtime as needed.
- Operate under general supervision while adhering to standard test and measurement practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Coursework in Electromagnetics, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra.
- Basic knowledge of Matlab.
- Experience with Near‑field Antenna Measurements (desired).
- Experience with NSI/MI NSI
2000 Software, Keysight Measurement software, and Radar Cross‑Section measurement (desired). - Experience with assembly, fabrication, or servicing of commercial or military hardware (desired).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance (Secret).
- Experience level: 4 years and up.
- Relocation available; position located at a facility requiring special access.
