This entry level position provides planning/scheduling support for the Skunk Works team on Advanced Development Programs.
What is Program Planning to Lockheed Martin?Program planning is a crucial part of Program Management and Enterprise Performance. It involves organizing and managing tasks to achieve our mission, including scheduling the design, development, and sustainability of our products. It breaks down creation into smaller engineering and manufacturing tasks, determines their sequence and duration, and enables projects to be completed on time, within budget, and with desired quality.
Aeronautical program planning combines creativity, science, and technology to enable the exploration and travel in the air and beyond.
The ADP Integrated Program Planning Asc. Team member is a self-starter and relationship builder supporting an integrated team within the Advanced Development Program (ADP) platform to ensure successful ADP program execution and performance, including all aspects of a validated Earned Value Management system. This position shares responsibility for schedule baseline management and control and assists in monthly variance analysis.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain schedules; integrate and assess schedule impacts of proposed work on existing and future plans; develop/refine knowledge of Critical Path Methodology and apply it to schedule network development and analysis; interact across program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, production, and quality control; actively participate in evaluating program and project planning and scheduling products and practices, and implement remediation activities upon identification of gaps.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Program Management, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited school
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities

- Experience developing and delivering presentations
- Experience with networked schedules, integrity checks, and critical path methodology
- Experience with Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g., Earned Value Management
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Previous experience with Deltek Open Plan
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to Work RemotelyOnsite Full‑time:
The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week to condensed schedules that provide employees with additional time away from the office, in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
Schedule for this Position4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay RateThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington D.C. is $52,300 – $92,230. For states not referenced above, the salary range reflects the candidate’s final work location. Salary information is a general guideline only.
