Description
You will be the Systems Engineer (Radar/EW) - Level 4 for the Skunk Works which is responsible for advancing radar and electronic warfare capabilities on Lockheed Martin’s most advanced aeronautics programs.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Systems Engineer (Radar/EW) - Level 4 you will be responsible for delivering high‑performance RF solutions that enable mission‑critical radar and EW systems across the product lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform RF engineering analyses and modeling for radar and electronic warfare subsystems.
- Contribute to system design, development, integration, test, and production activities.
- Apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to create and maintain digital system models.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to validate requirements and ensure seamless integration.
- Support sustainment and troubleshoot performance issues throughout the hardware lifecycle.
Annual base salary range: $109,200 - $192,510 (California, Massachusetts, New York excluding major metropolitan areas, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington). In major metropolitan areas: $125,600 - $217,695. Incentive plan eligible.

- Bachelor of science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience in systems engineering lifecycle development, requirements decomposition, and application of processes and tools.
- Experience with Radar and Electronic Warfare principles and sensor operations.
- Familiarity with antennas and/or Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) designs and integrations.
- Experience working independently and in cross functional or small technical teams.
- Experience with Radar, EW, and/or sensor hardware design, physical interfaces, and sensor integration onto airborne platforms.
- Experience with Supplier Management.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology and processes.
- Familiarity with use of Confluence and JIRA.
- Understanding of LM systems engineering processes.
- Experience with Military and/or Government programs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
This position requires a government security clearance; a US Citizen is mandatory. Active Secret clearance is required to start.

LocationThis position is in Palmdale, CA. Onsite full‑time at a Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Optional condensed schedules available.
