You will be the Electrical Harness Engineer for the Engineering Team which is responsible for developing cutting‑edge electrical harness solutions.

As the Electrical Harness Engineer you will be responsible for delivering high‑performance wiring architectures that enable next‑generation aerospace systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Produce detailed electrical wiring schematic drawings and design intricate power distribution systems.
• Partner with subsystem engineers to define loads, wiring requirements, and ensure seamless integration.
• Create and manage supplier statements of work, oversee supplier deliverables, and conduct system checkouts.
• Troubleshoot harness assemblies during manufacturing, resolve issues, and ensure flawless build quality.

You are a seasoned electrical engineering professional with a passion for innovative harness design. You bring collaborative problem‑solving, strong supplier management, and hands‑on troubleshooting skills. Your leadership drives teams to deliver reliable, high‑impact solutions that shape the future of aerospace.

Must be a U.S. citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams.
• Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent Electronic Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool.
• Experience performing Root Cause/Corrective Action troubleshooting.
• Hands on engineering experience with aircraft hardware or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Active Secret/Top Secret clearance per business requirements.

• Electrical Harness Design and Installation Experience (highly desired).
• Experience working on a small team covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing.
• Engineering experience working power systems or performing electrical load analysis.
• Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly fabrication and installation methods and processes.
• Experience with Teamcenter, ENOVIA, or equivalent PLM software.
• Active Secret/Top Secret clearance.
• 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related master’s degree.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

Onsite full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.

4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 – $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. The same work location considerations apply to the senior city certification which has a base salary range of $98,300 – $170,315 for most major metropolitan areas.
