Overview
You will be the Systems Engineer Senior Staff - Level 5 for the Skunk Works Systems Engineering team responsible for advancing cutting‑edge mission systems. The role leads the development of a new Skunk Works product within a program portfolio, driving technical solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Guide engineering personnel in requirements development, decomposition, tracking, and verification.
- Chair Functional Configuration Audits and lead risk assessments and mitigation efforts.
- Develop supplier specifications, technical plans, and verify requirements.
- Provide systems and subsystem integration/test support and collaborate with program management.
- Apply Earned Value Measurement Systems (EVMS) and drive technical leadership across product phases.
- Author and manage Statements of Work (SOWs) and Engineering Requirements Documents (ERDs) for subcontractors and vendors.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Leading systems engineering activities and processes within cost and schedule constraints.
- Experience with requirements generation, decomposition, tracking, and verification/validation using DOORS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, customer interaction experience.
- Experience leading a technical team or IPT.
- Experience with model‑based engineering/development environments.
- Experience developing a system architecture.
- Knowledge of Agile SAFe methodology.
- Experience with operational modeling tools within RMF.
- Experience with Mission Systems applications, integration, and test.
- Control Account Manager (CAM) experience and certification.
US citizen required with an active Top Secret clearance (investigation or CV date within 5 years).
