Position: Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer

* Description:

* You will be the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects  E3  Engineer for the Specialty Engineering team which is responsible for developing and validating electromagnetic and RF requirements across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics programs

** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects  E3  Engineer you will be responsible for driving requirements development, verification activities, and system trade studies that ensure electromagnetic compatibility and RF performance of aerospace assets

Your responsibilities will include:

+ Develop and refine E3 and RF requirements, then verify compliance through analysis, modeling, and testing

+ Participate in cross‑functional working groups and trade studies to assess electromagnetic impacts on system architecture

+ Integrate developmental and deployable hardware, ensuring electromagnetic and RF considerations are incorporated early in the design cycle

+ Provide technical expertise on electrical wiring design, avionics hardware, and mitigation strategies for electromagnetic interference

+ Document verification results, generate reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders to support decision‑making

* MUST BE A U S  CITIZEN   This position is located at a facility that requires special access  The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start

* Basic Qualifications:

* - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline from an accredited university

- Experience with magnetic principles and concepts

** Desired

Skills:

* - Familiarity with the EMI hardening process at the platform level

- Ability to adapt and apply EMI test concepts at a platform level

- Experience with MATLAB and CATIA

** Security Clearance Statement:
** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration

** Schedule for this Position:

** Pay Rate:
