Early Career Harness Design Engineer – Lockheed Martin Aeronautics
Description:
In this full‑time role, you will support integration of electrical systems across the aircraft, create wire schematics and harness documentation, and produce Build‑to‑Packages for detail parts and assemblies. You will work with Vehicle, Mission, and Weapon Systems design teams to meet harness design requirements.
- Integrate electrical system source data from Vehicle, Mission, and Weapon Systems design teams.
- Develop wire schematics, diagrams, and harness configuration documentation.
- Create Build‑to‐Packages for detail parts, assemblies, and installations.
- Collaborate with small multidisciplinary teams throughout the system development lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience creating electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent CAD tools.
- Hands‑on experience with aircraft modifications.
- U.S. Citizen required; government security clearance (Secret) required.
- Experience in electrical harness design and installation.
- Knowledge of aircraft electrical wire harness assembly, fabrication, and installation methods.
- Experience with aircraft harness, wiring, or cable design and schematics.
- Experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter, ENOVIA.
- Active Secret Clearance.
Requires U.S. citizenship and a government security clearance (Secret).
