Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Harness Design Engineer.
In this role, you will support the integration of all aspects of electrical systems, integrate source data from Vehicle Systems, Mission Systems, and Weapon Systems design teams into the entire aircraft, create wire schematics and diagrams to document the harness configuration, and develop Build-to-Packages for detail parts, assemblies, and installations.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Experience creating electrical schematics and/or wiring diagrams
- Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent electronic computer-aided design (CAD) tools
- Hands‑on experience with aircraft modifications
- Experience in electrical harness design and installation
- Experience working in small teams supporting the full system development lifecycle, from concept through testing
- Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly, fabrication, and installation methods and processes
- Experience with aircraft harness, wiring, or cable design and schematics
- Experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter, ENOVIA, or equivalent
- Active Secret Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance and the candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $57,500 - $101,430 for most locations; $66,200 - $114,655 for major metropolitan areas. The position is incentive plan eligible. Work Schedule4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week, onsite full‑time.
