The ChallengeIn this role, you will support critical Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) efforts on advanced development programs, providing expertise and driving improvements.
A Day in the LifeBased in Palmdale, California, you will work with a team of certified NDT Inspectors. Typical activities include:
- Setting up and operating computerized and advanced nondestructive test equipment
- Working across multiple NDI disciplines
- Participating in hands‑on training and development of NDI techniques
Must be able to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, walking up to 3 miles, working at heights, using ladders, lift platforms, and step stools; lift, push, pull, or carry a minimum of 30 pounds; perform repetitive tasks; use power equipment; work with vibrating tools; use a computer. Ability to work in outdoor, noisy, or chemical environments and wear appropriate PPE is required.
BasicQualifications
Minimum of 5 years NDT testing experience. Documented NAS‑410 Level II training and on‑the‑job training in at least three certifications.
Certifications- Ultrasonic (UT)
- Penetrant (PT)
- Magnetic Particle (MT)
- Radiography (RT)
- Eddy Current (ET)
- Shearography (ST)
- Thermography (IRT)
MUST be certified in PT, MT, RT, and any other method.
Desired Skills- Aerospace experience
- Ability to conduct OJT for trainees
- Penetrant and magnetic particle experience in aerospace settings
- Develop written techniques and procedures approved by an NDT Level III
- Demonstrate and pass examinations in the above methods
- Experience with robotic NDI equipment (preferred)
- Experience testing composites, metals, bonded assemblies, and welds
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and computerized workstations
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T
Interim Secret clearance required to start. Position requires a government security clearance and the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen.

Schedule:
4 day 10‑hour shifts, 3 days off per week. Shift: Second.
