Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will research, define, analyze, develop, design, provide technical supplier management, test, and qualify mechanical and fluid systems. You will perform requirements definition in coordination with system engineering and develop, review, and maintain engineering drawings and models. You will support integration and flight test, production, and sustainment activities and ensure program objectives are accomplished through troubleshooting and system subject matter expertise to assist in maintenance and delivery of effective technical data.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering core concepts. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
- Demonstrates basic understanding of core concepts and principles within the Mechanical / Aerospace engineering discipline and can apply them to routine tasks.
- Capable of completing routine, well defined assignments with periodic oversight; work is reviewed to ensure it meets objectives and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
- Adaptable and willingness to stretch technically and learn new things
This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500 - $101,430. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
