Description
Description: The Skunk Works (Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program) is looking for world class talent in Project Engineering to be a part of a team that will carry on our 80 year tradition making history in advanced aircraft development. The ADP Skunk works Vehicle Management team writes software for a wide range of aircraft subsystems that make the airplane fly. We are a highly imaginative and productive team working on a new development project to create modular and reusable software to create not only our current project but an entire future portfolio.
We operate out of the Skunk works headquarters in Palmdale, CA in a fully onsite and hands on team.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a STEM field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience coordinating across multiple functions or engineering teams.
- Demonstrated organizational and communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen; ability to obtain a clearance is required.
- Secret clearance with investigation or CV date within 5 years.
- JIRA, writing JQL, and Confluence experience strongly desired.
- Strong Agile Methodology understanding.
- Good understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Good understanding of Software development lifecycle.
- Dev Sec Ops or Tech Stack experience.
- Automation experience.
- Python or Java experience.
- Demonstrated self-starter requiring minimal supervision with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work schedule:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765.
