Role Summary
Early Career Survivability Engineer for Lockheed Martin Skunk Works ISR & UAS line of business. Responsibilities include working on aircraft stealth signature reduction, radar cross section (RCS) susceptibility, electromagnetic (EM) modeling, and user-defined project/program management for survivability system analysis.
Responsibilities- Perform, analyze, and communicate vehicle signature predictions using Unix-based codes and tools.
- Engage in research, design, computational electromagnetic modeling, fabrication, and testing of advanced electromagnetic metamaterials.
- Plan, perform, post‑process, and communicate results of laboratory, field, flight, and vehicle signature measurements.
- Write and use scripts to batch analyze and post‑process data.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Optics, or a related technical major.
- Experience working in a lab environment or hands‑on build experience.
- DoD Secret Clearance or willingness to obtain clearance.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Experience with Radar Cross Section Reduction (RCSR) or RF antenna design/integration.
- Knowledge of radar, RF materials, and RF material measurements.
- Programming skills in C/C++, Java, Fortran, MATLAB, or Python.
- CAD software literacy for model cleanup and meshing.
Position requires a Top Secret clearance with investigation or CV date within 5 years. U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
Compensation and BenefitsPay Rate: $76,500 - $134,895 annually for California, Massachusetts, New York (non‑metro) plus $88,000 - $152,490 for major metropolitan areas, adjusted for location.
