• Experience managing multiple programs and budgets, multi-tasking several projects

• Management &/or leadership experience with direct reports
Job Description
We are Lockheed Martin Skunk Works® is on the leading edge of manufacturing innovation. We continually look for ways to improve processes and performance while extracting cost by focusing on the areas of advanced composites, additive manufacturing and high-temperature structures.
• Manages the day to day activities for manufacturing engineering team in support of multiple programs. Lead organizational objectives and support line of business customers.
• Responsible for project coordination, process reviews, process improvement initiatives and oversight for manufacturing projects in support of production operations.
• Establish overall tempo for engineering team and will collaborate cross-functionally with other organizations including production engineering team, production operations, quality and production control.
• Responsible for overall department budgets and scheduling of assets to support program needs.
• Represent Manufacturing Engineering team during AS9100 audits, DCMA reviews and will be overall POC for any manufacturing engineering related issues or objectives. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Active Secret Clearance Required

Desired skills
• Experience presenting to large groups of employees, customers and site leadership.
• Experience managing teams of engineers in the Aerospace industry or lead engineer supporting multiple employees and customers.
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• Full Spectrum Leadership qualities.
• Understanding of full production life cycle from procurement, engineering, production, quality and sustainment.
• Good oral and presentation skills
• Must be willing to work extended hours in support of program needs as needed.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment while interfacing with program representatives, internal and external customers and stakeholders across the enterprise.
• Understanding of Aerospace standards (AS9100 & ISO
9001), concepts, and processes.
