Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer - Level 4 | Lockheed Martin

Works independently or leads a team to execute project, schedule, and technical requirements to meet the goals of the test program.
Responsible for specification, selection, design, integration, operation and maintenance of airborne data acquisition systems, and their related components. This includes telemetry, flight test specific hardware, or prototypes for flight test evaluation.
Responsible for mechanical build, installation, and aircraft structure modification designs.
Responsible for electrical designs and schematics to include power supplies, signal conditioning, amplification, heating, and cooling provisions.
Oversee installation, checkout, and calibration of data systems, to ensure collected data can be properly displayed, processed, and analyzed.
Support occasional travel Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Previous experience with Curtis Wright, Safran, or similar instrumentation hardware Signal conditioning, transducers, and data acquisition Analog & digital circuit design and analysis Electrical design Mechanical design Flight test instrumentation operations IRIG 106 Telemetry Standards Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, function generation, network analyzer, and multi-meter use Technical team lead experience

Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115.
