APG Field Service Representative - Level 3

* ** What You Will Be Doing:*
* Long term overseas field service assignment at Osan AB, KR as an airframe APG  technical representative  Position supports active duty U 2 aircraft maintainers  Currently or recently qualified on the U 2 aircraft to perform duties

expected of a fully qualified Air Force 7  or 9 level aircraft mechanic strongly preferred  Must have systems knowledge and specific hands on experience on

aircraft general, fuels, hydraulics, engine, egress, flight controls, structures and/or environmental control systems   May assist Air Force  AF  perform periodic inspection tasks and flight line sortie generation operations as required  Must have strong troubleshooting

skills and know how to read aircraft drawings and interpret high level tech data  Will provide informal OJT training for Air Force personnel on aircraft systems; inspect/sign off the work of others; downgrade Red X conditions; assist aircraft flight worthiness decision making; perform

"hands on" tasks when required such as inspections, pre  and post flight, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs as requested by the customer; insure work is documented in aircraft forms and Integrated Maintenance Data System

IMDS ; and insure safety, quality, and productivity  Perform field service reporting of In flight Emergencies  IFE , incidents, daily and monthly reports using computer based systems, email, digital cameras, and telephone; serve as a POC for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company  LM Aero  and government program management

inquiries  Must know Air Force policy and procedures with regard to aircraft maintenance  Must be able to work well

with Air Force and other contractor personnel at all levels and strengthen team performance  Position is designated as mission essential and world wide deployable  Must accept military quarters on travel if provided, and maintain military mobility qualifications to include chemical warfare, anthrax, smallpox, etc  May be forward deployed  Must accept and adapt to location specific rules and guidelines

related to personal safety, security, cultural awareness, and acceptable behavior  Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and

must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information  Must pass an overseas physical for each year on assignment

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* Five years minimum experience in Flight line and/or A/C mechanical systems

 Mechanical systems experience/troubleshooting

 Ability to read and interpret engineering blue prints, engineering drawings, or schematics

 Computer skills;
Microsoft Office suite

Current Secret Clearance required

* U 2 Flight line experience

 U 2 mechanical systems experience

 U 2 Repair & Reclamation skills

 Power Plant and/or structures experience

 Air Force Forms 781 documentation, Integrated Maintenance Data System  IMDS  knowledge

 Air Force  AF  Quality Assurance experience

 AF Supply system knowledge

 Good team working skills; ability to work with and build strong teams

 Sound written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills

 Bachelor and above degree
