* You will be the Airframe Structural Design Engineer   Level 3 for the Advanced Development Programs  ADP  which is responsible for advancing aircraft structural solutions

** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Airframe Structural Design Engineer   Level 3 you will be responsible for delivering innovative structural designs that meet rigorous performance and safety standards

Your responsibilities will include:

+ Create and modify primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents

+ Develop, test, and validate aircraft structural designs

+ Generate system requirements, conduct trade studies, draft statements of work, and prepare test plans

+ Coordinate with internal Integrated Product Teams and interact with external IPTs and suppliers

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering

 Experience in airframe structure design

Experience with CATIA V5

Experience with 2D Drafting and 3D modeling of detail parts, assemblies, and GD&T

Experience with Bill of Materials and drawing structure

Experience with metallic design

Experience with aircraft structural repairs

** Desired

Skills:

* Experience with MRB coordination and support

Experience with sheet metal design

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment

Experience with basic hand stress analysis

Experience with aircraft coatings and design

Experience with composite design

Experience with component selection and integration

 Experience developing technical documents

Experience with aircraft corrosion remediation

** Security Clearance Statement:
** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration
