Responsibilities- Work corrective actions for discrepancies in a manufacturing environment across multiple portions of the build.
- Conduct critical reviews of processes to identify gaps and close them with the intent of reducing variation and discrepancies in the build.
- Collaborate with quality engineering and production operations to triage repeat failure modes in a production environment.
- Utilize lean six sigma toolsets to identify root causes and develop corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with team members to explore out‑of‑the‑box thinking and contribute to product improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment and collaborating cross‑functionally with quality assurance, production operations, design engineering, industrial engineering, project engineering, manufacturing engineering, and/or process engineering.
- Experience supporting air‑vehicle assembly and part assembly, including composites fabrication, metallics fabrication, structural assembly, systems installation, or test operations.
- Experience in integrated corrective action, cause‑map development, and RCCA.
- Active secret security clearance with an investigation in the last 5 years or enrollment in CE.
- Ability to obtain special program access within 3 months of start.
- STEM degree with 5+ years of experience.
- Black belt certification.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Working knowledge of air‑vehicle final assembly and flight line operations.
- Experience with audit teams or performing process audits.
- Experience facilitating kaizen events and tiger team efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure and develop preventative action plans.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, model‑based engineering, process specifications, and manufacturing planning.
- Self‑starter with ability to operate with limited direction.
- Experience with 3D modelling software (CATIA, Creo, Solid Works, NX), PLM programs (3DX, Teamcenter, PDM, etc.), and MES programs (iBASEt, SAP, etc.).
Secret clearance with investigation or CV date within 5 years. This position requires a government security clearance; applicants must be U.S. citizens.

Pay RateCalifornia, Massachusetts, New York (excluding major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC: $81,600 – $143,865 per year. Major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York: $93,800 – $162,610 per year.
