- Works independently or leads a team to execute project, schedule, and technical requirements to meet the goals of the test program

- Responsible for specification, selection, design, integration, operation and maintenance of airborne data acquisition systems, and their related components  This includes telemetry, flight test specific hardware, or prototypes for flight test evaluation

- Responsible for mechanical build, installation, and aircraft structure modification designs

- Responsible for electrical designs and schematics to include power supplies, signal conditioning, amplification, heating, and cooling provisions

- Oversee installation, checkout, and calibration of data systems, to ensure collected data can be properly displayed, processed, and analyzed

- Support occasional travel

 Must be a US Citizen  This position is located at a facility that requires special access

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* - BS in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Science degrees or equivalent experience

- Technical background in Electrical Engineering or related field

- Experience with 3 D Computer Aided design  CAD  tools/drafting software

** Desired

Skills:

* - Previous experience with Curtis Wright, Safran, or similar instrumentation hardware

- Signal conditioning, transducers, and data acquisition

- Analog & digital circuit design and analysis

- Electrical design

- Mechanical design

- Flight test instrumentation operations

- IRIG 106 Telemetry Standards

- Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, function generation, network analyzer, and multi meter use

- Technical team lead experience

** Work Schedules:
** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees   Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed   These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits

** Schedule for this Position:
** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

** Pay Rate:
** The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York  excluding most major metropolitan areas , Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500    $150,765  For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location  Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only  Lockheed Martin considers factors such as  but not limited to  scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer
