- Level 4 you will be responsible for turning advanced aeronautics concepts into robust structural solutions that enable next-generation aircraft. "Your responsibilities will include:"
* Creation or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
* Contributing to the development, testing, and validation of aircraft structural designs.
* Assisting in the creation of system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.
* Coordinating with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and interacting with external IPTs and suppliers. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering
- Experience in airframe structure design
- Experience with CATIA V5
- Experience with 2D Drafting and 3D modeling of detail parts, assemblies, and GD&T
- Experience with Bill of Materials and drawing structure
- Experience with metallic design
- Experience with aircraft structural repairs Desired
Skills:
- Experience with MRB coordination and support
- Experience with basic hand stress analysis
- Experience with sheet metal design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Experience with aircraft coatings and design
- Experience with composite design
- Experience with aircraft Ground Support Equipment Sustainment, Modification, and Design
- Experience with ASIP Compliance
- Experience developing technical documents
- Experience with aircraft corrosion remediation Security Clearance Statement:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
