Job Overview
Engineering Planner in Palmdale, CA. On-site. US Citizenship required. W2 hourly rate $30 - $60 DOE. This role focuses on creating comprehensive work instructions related to one or more of the following: machine parts, composite details, composite assemblies, airframe structures, aircraft systems, aircraft check-outs, wiring and electrical systems, plumbing, aircraft maintenance, MRB or coatings.
Responsibilities- Create comprehensive work instructions related to one or more of the following areas: machine parts, composite details, composite assemblies, airframe structures, aircraft systems, aircraft check-outs, wiring and electrical systems, plumbing, aircraft maintenance, MRB or coatings.
- US Citizenship status. Only US Citizens are eligible for consideration.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years relevant experience or Master’s with 3 years.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and references.
- Instructional writing proficiency.
- Detailed knowledge of fabrication, tooling, manufacturing and inspection methods or processes pertaining to aircraft parts, assemblies, systems, or vehicles.
- Working knowledge of computer applications such as SAP, MS Office, CAPP/SFM and model-based engineering systems such as Solumina/iBASEt, Teamcenter, 3DX or similar programs.
- Understanding of EBOM, MBOM, and OBOM.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAE tools, such as Solid Works, Autodesk Inventor, or CATIA.
- Ability to pass background checks required to obtain a DoD Secret clearance; active Secret is a plus.
