Systems Engineer, Test Engineer
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- 10+ years of Experience Integrating and/or Testing Software intensive systems in Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) System integration lab.
- 5+ years of Experience with one or more of the following tracking tools: JIRA, Git Lab, Git Hub
- 5+ years of Experience Eggplant, Cucumber or Python
- 5+ years of Experience with Omniview and Mission Planning conops
- Ability to develop and communicate long term hardware integration strategies
As a systems engineer on this team you are assigned and responsible for multiple capabilities. For those capabilities you for which you will be responsible for breaking down requirements, developing test cases to meet those requirements, manually testing the system, record test results in test log tool, and create anomaly reports for issues found in testing. You will also be responsible for working with your software counterpart to write and troubleshoot any Anomaly Reports for any issues found while testing in the lab.
You will also be responsible for the development of failure mode testing of your capabilities. Additionally you will help automate or help the automation team develop automated tests of your capabilities.
Accredited Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree with 9+ years of experience.
WORK HOURSThursday - Sunday, 10 hours per day, 1st shift.
