Active Top Secret Clearance Required

Position Overview
  • We are seeking an experienced Aeronautical Engineer to support the design, integration, and development of advanced aerospace platforms.
  • This position focuses on structural design, multidisciplinary engineering integration, and collaboration with manufacturing and production teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • The ideal candidate has extensive experience with aircraft structures, metallic and composite components, and advanced CAD design tools while working on complex aerospace or defense programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the integration of aircraft structural designs across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Develop and refine airframe designs using CATIA V5 and/or 3

    DEXPERIENCE (3DX).
  • Participate in engineering trade studies to evaluate design alternatives, performance, manufacturability, and cost.
  • Partner with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, fabrication, assembly, and MRB teams to support production activities.
  • Review engineering data and resolve design-related technical issues.
  • Prepare technical documentation, engineering presentations, and customer deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of complex aerospace programs.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience designing and analyzing aircraft or airframe structures.
  • 10+ years of experience working with both metallic and composite structural components.
  • Strong proficiency with CATIA V5 and/or 3

    DEXPERIENCE (3DX).
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Experience supporting Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
  • Familiarity with hand stress analysis methods.
  • Experience working directly with manufacturing, suppliers, and production teams.
  • Background supporting advanced aerospace, defense, or hypersonic vehicle development programs.
