Integral to Lockheed Martin's Program Management & Enterprise Performance, it organizes tasks for mission success, scheduling design, development, and sustainability of products. It breaks down products into tasks, sets sequences & durations, ensuring on-time, in-budget, quality outcomes. Aeronautical program planning is an exciting process that combines creativity, science, and technology to create amazing machines that enable humans to explore and travel in the air and beyond!
Key duties include supporting an integrated team to ensure successful program execution and performance, including all aspects of a validated Earned Value Management system. This position has shared responsibility for baseline management and control and assisting in variance analysis. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of schedules. Candidate will integrate and assess schedule impacts of proposed work on existing and future plans.
Candidate will develop knowledge of Critical Path Methodology and how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis. Position interacts across functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production. This position will be an active participant in the evaluation of planning products and practices and will be instrumental in the remediation activities upon identification of gaps.
Primary tools used include Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool, Milestones Professional, and Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Experiences with Earned Value Management (EVM) including Cost / Schedule Integration
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, projects, or programs
• Experience presenting to leadership, customers, or other stakeholders
• Degree in Construction Management, Program Management, Business Administration
• Experience with networked schedules, integrity checks, and critical path methodology
• Experience with Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g. Earned Value Management
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Previous experience with Deltek Open Plan
• Excellent Communication and Organizational skills
