As a Sr. Staff, Financial Management professional supporting the Skunk Works Line of Business, you will serve as the Business Manager for programs within the Advanced Systems portfolio. This high‑impact role plays a critical part in creating and maintaining an effective customer relationship, guiding financial execution, and driving business performance across a dynamic development environment.
You will provide day‑to‑day leadership across a wide range of business management functions — from proposal development and contract execution to financial planning, forecasting, and performance management. This role offers direct exposure to internal and customer leadership, making it an excellent opportunity for a finance professional seeking both strategic influence and hands‑on program ownership.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the Business Manager for programs within the ADP Advanced Systems Portfolio, leading the Finance and Business Operations team.
- Partner with Program Management to meet schedule, cost, and performance commitments.
- Provide financial leadership across the full program lifecycle, including proposals, contracts, estimating, FP&A, EVMS, and independent cost estimating activities.
- Develop, analyze, and report key financial metrics including Orders, Sales, Cash, Earnings, ROS, and ROC.
- Support Executive Planning Panels (EPPs), Estimate‑at‑Completion (EAC) planning, and Contract Status Reviews (CSRs).
- Prepare and support submission of contractual deliverables such as IPMRs, CFSRs, and other required financial documentation.
- Conduct financial risk and opportunity assessments and provide actionable recommendations to improve program performance.
- Identify cost improvement opportunities and support implementation of corrective action plans.
- Develop and monitor program funding forecasts and prepare recurring financial reviews for program and executive leadership.
- Collaborate across multiple functional teams including engineering, production, supply chain, estimating, and program management.

Who You AreYou are a strategic and results‑driven finance leader with experience across program finance, financial planning, and business operations in a fast‑paced, complex environment. You have experience partnering with program leadership to drive cost, schedule, and performance outcomes while maintaining strong financial execution and integrity. You are comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels, engaging with senior leadership and customers, and translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
You bring experience in proposals, contracts, forecasting, EVMS, and cost analysis, with a focus on identifying risks and opportunities and driving solutions. You are a collaborative partner who builds strong cross‑functional relationships, stays organized in dynamic environments, and is committed to delivering results while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Experience creating and managing budget targets.
- Experience with Earned Value (EV) execution and surveillance.
- Experience with Return‑on‑Sales/Orders/Sales/Earnings/Cash assessments and projections.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) and 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Hands‑on experience with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics systems: SAP, Deltek COBRA, Deltek Open Plan, ADAR, Hyperion, etc.
- Familiarity with U.S. Government reporting requirements (Cost Performance Reports (CPR), Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR), Contract Fund Status Reports (CFSR)).
- Experience with FAR and DFAR.
- Experience driving proposal artifacts and leading reviews (independent non‑advocate reviews, EPP).
- Strong financial and analytical capabilities.
- Experience managing New Business Funds (NBF).
- Diligent, proactive, problem‑solving approach.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor peers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proven experience interacting with VPs, Directors, Managers, and cross‑functional teams as the lead financial point‑of‑contact.
- Executive‑level presentation experience.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and special projects.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
