The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for assessing referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, or language deficits, teaching patients to produce sounds, improve voice, and strengthen swallowing, and providing skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders.

• Provide skilled speech therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or actively pursuing licensure.
• Minimum one year of professional experience.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Certified in Clinical Communication Competencies (CCC's).
• Other requirements as determined by client facility.
