Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Palmdale, California

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a school setting located in Palmdale, CA, serving students onsite during the  academic year. This in‑person position focuses on working directly at a campus in Lancaster, CA, where you will have the opportunity to support students with diverse communication needs, including those with Autism.

Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech‑language services tailored to each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP). You will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement therapy and support communication goals effectively. Comfort and experience working with students on the autism spectrum is essential for success in this role.

• Current Speech‑Language Pathologist certification (CCC‑SLP)
• Experience in pediatric healthcare settings or schools preferred
• Proficiency in teletherapy techniques is beneficial but this role is strictly in‑person
• Comfort working with students with Autism and related communication challenges
• Ability to supervise and coordinate services with Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) if applicable
• Eligibility to fulfill Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) requirements is a plus
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to work within a multidisciplinary team

This contract role is ideal for an SLP passionate about delivering targeted therapy in a school environment and comfortable engaging with students requiring specialized autism services. Support will be provided by a Virtual Business Director for guidance and operational support.
