Overview

Palmdale Regional Medical Center (PRMC) is a 184-bed acute care hospital located in Palmdale, CA. PRMC is part of the Southwest Healthcare network and serves the Antelope Valley and surrounding areas with award‑winning patient care.

Responsible for the overall management of the laboratory in an efficient, economic and quality manner; to the satisfaction of the Lab Medical Director, the Laboratory Department Director, Hospital Administration, and the medical staff. Supervises, coordinates and participates in all areas of laboratory testing and compliance with regulatory agencies.

• Five (5) years’ experience as a CLS is required. Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License or California Clinical Specialty License.
• CPI certification required within 30 days of hire.
