Job Summary

The Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst III is responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating integrated master plans and integrated master schedules to support complex aerospace and defense programs. This role ensures schedules are aligned across engineering, manufacturing, finance, quality, and material functions while supporting program execution through schedule analysis, risk assessment, earned value management, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS), EVMS, and cross‑functional program coordination within highly regulated aerospace or defense environments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and coordinate Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to support program objectives and deliverables
  • Prepare and manage integrated master plans and program schedules across multiple functional organizations
  • Ensure schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated across engineering, manufacturing, finance, materials, and quality teams
  • Track project plans and schedules to identify variances, risks, and potential schedule impacts
  • Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, and network logic evaluations
  • Identify and resolve schedule conflicts, dependencies, and performance issues
  • Support Earned Value Management System (EVMS) reporting and program performance analysis
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies including Gantt charts, PERT charts, milestone tracking, and schedule metrics
  • Develop and maintain resource‑loaded schedules and support schedule risk assessments
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure schedule accuracy and program alignment
  • Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and program performance documentation for leadership review
  • Support continuous improvement of scheduling processes, metrics, and reporting activities
  • Ensure compliance with program management standards and scheduling best practices
Job Requirements
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project
  • Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and project management principles
  • Strong understanding of critical path analysis, schedule logic, and schedule risk analysis
  • Ability to manage complex cross‑functional program schedules in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to support multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance and/or SCI access preferred
  • Ability to work onsite full‑time in a secure environment required
Work Experience
  • Previous experience supporting aerospace or defense programs preferred
  • Experience using Deltek Cobra, Deltek Acumen Risk, or related scheduling tools preferred
  • Experience with Resource Loaded Schedules (RLS) and Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) preferred
  • Familiarity with DCMA health metrics and compliance standards preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VBA/macros preferred
  • Experience supporting high‑visibility government or defense contracts preferred
