You will be the Items Analyst
- Level 2 for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics which is responsible for supporting global military operations through superior sustainment performance. What You Will Be Doing As the Items Analyst
- Level 2 you will be responsible for ensuring timely availability of materials that keep aircraft mission-ready. You will collaborate across functional teams to forecast demand, manage inventory, and implement improvements that enhance fleet availability. Your responsibilities will include:
* Monitor and manage inventory levels to guarantee material availability for aircraft maintenance.
* Analyze supply and demand data to forecast requirements and mitigate potential shortages.
* Coordinate with procurement, logistics, engineering, and operations to resolve supply-chain constraints.
* Develop and execute strategies that optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve fleet readiness.
* Track material flow and performance metrics to support timely execution of logistics plans.
* Leverage data analytics and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations.
* Support the implementation of innovative technologies and tools that enhance supply planning and inventory visibility.
* Contribute to the development of process documentation, training materials, and reporting tools to support operational excellence. The selected candidate must possess an Interim Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Excel utilizing pivot tables and other Excel related functions
• Must be a US Citizen.;
This position will require a government security clearance.;

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and an ability to think critically in a high tempo customer-centered environment.
• Experience with data tools or programming languages such as Tableau, SQL, Python, etc., including applied knowledge of MS Excel and data analytical skills and proven and demonstrated functionality.
• Experience with stakeholder/customer relationship management
