OverviewYou are a member of the Palmdale Receiving Center Operations (RCO) team responsible for managing the efficient movement of material, classified parts and spares from receiving into the warehouse. You monitor inventory stocking levels and engage other organizations to maintain company‑owned inventory goals and metrics. You lead a group of subordinate employees to provide support across multiple manufacturing areas and implement material flow strategies for existing and new ADP programs.
You must be a self‑starter with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, able to use MRP, SAP, and other inventory systems.
- Oversee and optimize material flow from receiving to warehouse.
- Maintain inventory stocking levels and meet inventory metrics.
- Lead and manage subordinate employees across manufacturing sites.
- Implement material flow strategies for ADP programs.
- Attend and chair status meetings, reporting progress and material availability.
- Resolve manufacturing issues, interfacing with supporting organizations.
- Collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.
- Leadership or Management experience.
- Experience with inventory management systems such as SAP or ERP4C.
- Knowledge of logistics/warehousing procedures in a production environment and inventory record accuracy.
- Familiarity with accessing and using online data management tools.
- 4+ years of leadership experience.
- Project management skills.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to interface with and present to multiple levels of leadership.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Lean concepts.
Required:
US Citizen; holder of a government security clearance (Secret).
Facility:
Palmdale, CA. Onsite full‑time.
Shift: First.
Schedule:
4×10‑hour day, 3 days off per week.
Pay Range: $73,800 – $130,180 annually (varies by location).
