Description
As a member of the Palmdale Receiving Center Operations (RCO) team, you will be responsible for managing the efficient movement of material, classified parts, and spares from receiving into the warehouse. You will monitor inventory stocking levels, engage other organizations to maintain company-owned inventory goals and metrics, and lead a group of subordinate employees supporting multiple manufacturing areas. Your role includes implementing material flow strategies for new and existing ADP programs, attending and chairing status meetings, resolving manufacturing process issues, and collaborating with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.
Responsibilities- Manage the movement of material, classified parts, and spares from receiving into the warehouse.
- Monitor inventory stocking levels and engage stakeholders to maintain inventory goals and metrics.
- Lead a group of subordinate employees in providing support to multiple manufacturing areas.
- Implement material flow strategies for existing and new ADP programs.
- Attend or chair status meetings, advising management on work-in-progress and material availability.
- Resolve manufacturing process issues by interfacing with supporting organizations.
- Collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.
- Leadership or Management experience.
- Experience with inventory‑management systems such as SAP or ERP4C.
- Knowledge of logistics/warehousing procedures and experience in a production environment; strong inventory record accuracy.
- Familiarity with accessing and using online data‑management tools.
- 4+ years of leadership experience.
- Project management skills.
- Demonstrated successful problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to interface with and present to multiple levels of leadership.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Lean concepts.
- Proven ability to communicate with strong interpersonal skills.
Secret clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
CompensationAnnual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $73,800 – $130,180. Compensation may vary based on final work location.
