Candidate Responsibilities- Creating Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOMs).
- Creating and administering manufacturing plans for make and buy parts, materials masters and planning tracking mechanisms.

- Experience in a manufacturing environment working cross‑functionally with other disciplines including industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance & or production planning.
- Experience with manufacturing processes and procedures including fabrication, assembly, machining, coatings, and electrical in several disciplines including composites, metallics, machining, bonded assemblies & or installations.
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or other related technical field.
- 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related master’s degree.
- Understanding of systems including SAP and SFM.
- Experience with Manufacturing Plan development.
- Experience with MRP system or SAP or other Manufacturing Execution System (MES) application.
- Experience leading a small technical team.
- Experience supporting various projects and coordinating activities related to the full life cycle of projects from conception to delivery.
- Experience with planning functions including Computer Aided Production Planning (CAPP) and Shop Order Maintenance (SOM).
- Working knowledge of one or more organizations including:
Operations, IT, Planning, Production Control, ERP, MRP, Quality or systems integration. - Effective communication skills and demonstrated ability to successfully work with other team members including Operations, Production Control, Quality Assurance, IT, Planning and Engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure and develop preventative action plan to limit failures in the future.
- Demonstrated ability to solve logistical issues and lead efforts to drive mission success.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, process specifications and manufacturing planning.
- Experience working with fighter aircraft in a manufacturing environment.
Positions requires a government security clearance; the candidate must be a US citizen. Clearance level:
Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
Work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work SchedulesSchedule:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
Pay range: $99,700 – $175,835 (California, Massachusetts, and New York excluding most major metropolitan areas). Salary may vary by work location.
