Position Summary

The Associate Manufacturing Analyst or Manufacturing Analyst will be located in Palmdale, CA as part of Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems’ Manufacturing Engineering / Tooling organization. The role supports manufacturing processes by structuring and maintaining bills of material, developing and maintaining work instructions, implementing detailed sequences of operations, investigating and initiating corrective actions, and facilitating continuous improvement within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Structure and maintain bill of materials.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, including 3‑D visual instructions.
  • Implement detailed sequence of operations and specify procedures for product builds.
  • Investigate and initiate corrective actions and improvements relating to work instructions.
  • Identify improvement opportunities through sequence optimization in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Support production, business, and other processes in a team‑based manufacturing environment.
  • Participate in cross‑functional activities including production planning, continuous improvement, material management, process optimization, and liaison.
  • Act as the production focal point for management of bill of material and production planning within the Aerospace sector.
  • Oversee and manage all phases of projects and serve as a liaison between NGC stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Review status of projects, manage schedules, and prepare, provide, maintain, and present project status.
  • Create presentations.
Core Competencies
  • Manufacturing Methods: knowledge of manufacturing methods and fabrication processes, selection of optimal methods, and performance in assembly line operations.
  • Project Management: successful project management and leadership experience, coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with internal and external customers.
Basic Qualifications Associate Manufacturing Analyst
  • Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance and Special Program access within a reasonable period of time.
  • Ability to work any shift.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Highly detail‑oriented, organized, proactive, and skilled communicator.
  • Ability to support 10% overtime as required.
  • Ability to travel at least 10%.
Manufacturing Analyst
  • Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience or Master’s degree with 0 years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance and Special Program access within a reasonable period of time.
  • Ability to work any shift.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Highly detail‑oriented, organized, proactive, and skilled communicator.
  • Ability to support 10% overtime as required.
  • Ability to travel at least 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in an engineering environment.
  • Experience with MS Project.
Compensation

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,000.00 – $94,600.00.

Secondary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 – $.

The salary range represents a general guideline; factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions may influence the final offer.
