Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Dimension Control Technician 1's for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
* High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 0-5 years of experience
* Must have the ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 35 pounds.
* Ability to work inside and outside in a warehouse/shop floor environment.
* Ability to handle and assemble small parts and machinery.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance, including Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
* Ability to work 10% overtime.
* Ability to work any shift. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* The Dimension Control Technician Level 1 will receive direct supervision from training personnel or their immediate supervisor.
* The duties and tasks are basic and repetitive.
* The individual has little to no understanding of the job.
* The job is performed in a training environment, where errors are corrected as part of the learning process.
* The worker's interactions are primarily with immediate supervisors, training staff, and other new employees.
* Any questions or problems are referred to higher-level personnel. REQUIRED EDUCATION High School Diploma/GED is required. School must be accredited. WORK HOURS 4/10 workweek. Must be able to work any shift. ADDITIONAL Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
