Multi-Functional Manufacturing Planner Supervisor | Lockheed Martin
We are Lockheed Martin. As a member of the Palmdale Receiving Center Operations (RCO) team, you will be responsible for managing the efficient movement of material, classified parts and spares from receiving into the warehouse. You'll monitor inventory stocking levels and engage other organizations to assist in maintaining company owned inventory goals and metrics. You will also be responsible for a group of subordinate employees in providing support to multiple manufacturing areas across the site and implementing material flow strategies for existing and new ADP programs.
To succeed in this role, you must be a self starter, posses thorough interpersonal skills, have the ability to lead and guide subordinates, and be able to utilize MRP (Material Review Processes), SAP. You may attend / chair status meetings advising management of the status of work in progress, and material availability. You must have the ability to resolve issues that may arise in the manufacturing process by interfacing with all supporting organization and be flexible, open minded and capable of managing multiple tasks.
This role also provides you with the ability to collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.
