CNC Machine Operator Opportunity in Palmdale, CA

We are seeking a skilled individual to set up and operate horizontal, multi-joint, or vertical numerical control machines. You will perform machining operations such as compound angles and contours, boring compound angular holes, and executing helical and spiral milling. Your role will involve ensuring precision in gear, spline, and keyway cutting, all while maintaining exacting tolerances.

Key responsibilities include selecting, mounting, and aligning machine attachments, following operational sequences, and interpreting blueprints and engineering specifications. You will also be responsible for quality assurance, equipment monitoring, documentation, and ensuring safety compliance.

• High School diploma or equivalent with an additional 6 months of education and/or related experience.
• Experience with robotics and CNC Machining.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, preset torque tools, reference inspection gauges, and dial indicators.
• Ability to work a 3/10 schedule and second shift.

• Formal CNC Machining Certificate.

This is a full-time, contract-based position with a work schedule of 4x10 (Monday to Thursday). Although no security clearance is required, the role is government contract-based. The position offers a standard work week of 40 hours.
