Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst (Associate Manufacturing Analyst or Manufacturing Analyst) to join our Manufacturing Engineering / Tooling organization. The role involves structuring and maintaining bill of materials, developing work instructions, implementing sequences of operations, and supporting production, business, and cross‑functional processes.
ResponsibilitiesKey duties include:
- Structuring and maintaining bill of material and production planning.
- Developing and maintaining work instructions, including 3‑D visual instructions.
- Implementing detailed sequence of operations and specifying procedures for product builds.
- Investigating and initiating corrective actions and improvements related to work instructions.
- Identifying improvement opportunities through sequence optimization in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering.
- Supporting production, business, and other cross‑functional areas such as continuous improvement, material management, and process optimization.
- Acting as the production focal point for management of bill of material and production planning within the aerospace sector.
- Oversee and manage all phases of projects and serve as liaison between NGC stakeholders and suppliers.
- Review project status and manage schedules.
- Prepare, provide, maintain, and present project status.
Create presentations.
- Manufacturing Methods:
Knowledge of manufacturing methods and fabrication processes, selection of best methods for parts, tools, or assemblies, and verifiable performance record in assembly line operations. - Project Management:
Successful project management and leadership experience, coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers.
- Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance and Special Program access within a reasonable period.
- Ability to work any shift.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Highly detail‑oriented, organized, proactive, and a skilled communicator.
- Support 10% overtime as required.
- Travel at least 10% of time.
- Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience OR Master’s degree with 0 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance and Special Program access within a reasonable period.
- Ability to work any shift.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Highly detail‑oriented, organized, proactive, and a skilled communicator.

Primary Level: $63,000 – $94,600. Secondary Level: $75,800 – $113,800. Salary determined by responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
