Description
Manufacturing Program Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is in Palmdale, CA, where technology and teamwork come together. The Manufacturing Analyst job duties involve supporting production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.
Performs activities in various cross‑functional areas, including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.
Incumbent may facilitate self‑directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.
ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will support Palmdale, CA's F‑35 Assembly Tooling organization and work collaboratively with diverse disciplines in a team‑based manufacturing environment.
- Track daily costs, administer earned value management activities, maintain visibility charts, and provide weekly and monthly status reports.
- Close and document tool orders for PMC assembly tooling, oversee validation of incoming materials against the bill of material, and develop internal tooling packages.
- Liaise with support organizations to negotiate schedules with Production, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering.
- Order and record chemical usage, ensure proper inventory within the NGC Chemical Tracking system, and manage tool control and accountability activities, including daily inventory, audits, property, and asset management.
- Handle other manufacturing and assembly tooling‑related duties as required.
- Perform technical administrative tasks including certification compliance, staff meetings, team engagement support, onboarding, travel support, and safety focal tasks.
Core Competencies
- Knowledge of manufacturing, methods, and fabrication processes (forming, stamping, machining, heat treatment, machine tools, cutting tools, fluids, N/C programming, instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems). Ability to select the best method of producing parts, tools, or assemblies.
- Verifiable performance record that includes the various aspects of assembly line operation.
- Successful project management and leadership experience.
- Coordinate design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with internal and external customers.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, or Master's Degree with 1 year of experience, or 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Ability to work any shift.
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Suite capabilities (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and a skilled communicator.

- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Cost account management.
- Advanced Microsoft Suite capabilities (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to interpret engineering specs, drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS).
- Aerospace, Aerospace Manufacturing, Aerospace Tooling, Blueprint Reading, Business Administration.
- Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Excel expert.
