Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking candidates for our NDI training and apprenticeship program. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Mission Assurance organization working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA with potential overseas travel for a Non-Destructive Test Technician level 1.
Primary focus is to train for in-field Non-destructive Inspection of aircraft. Candidates will learn the skills for the inspection of composite aerospace components, and other energetic and non-energetic articles. This position is responsible for following unique nondestructive inspection techniques, methods, and procedures. Works with design, project and quality engineers through the training process to select and implement the best NDT method to ensure product quality at lowest cost.
