WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Perform nondestructive inspections using Penetrant, Radiography, and Ultrasonic testing methods
- Set up, operate, and maintain advanced computerized NDT equipment
- Inspect metallic structures, composite assemblies, bonded components, and weldments
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements to ensure product quality
- Support development and continuous improvement of inspection techniques and procedures
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues
- Assist in training and mentoring developing NDT inspectors through on‑the‑job instruction
- Maintain compliance with NAS
410 certification requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures

Must be able to work any shift or work schedule.
Basic Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years Non‑Destructive Inspection Testing experience and documented previous NAS‑410 Level II Training and OJT
- Must have certifications in Penetrant (PT), Radiography (RT), and Ultrasonic (UT)
- Must have interim secret clearance to start
- Certification in Magnetic Particle (MT), Eddy Current (ET), Shearography (ST), Thermography (IRT)
- Aerospace experience
- Ability to conduct OJT for trainees
- Penetrant and Magnetic particle experience in aerospace setting
- Ability to develop written techniques and procedures for approval by an NDT Level III
- Must be able to demonstrate and pass general, specific, and practical examinations in the above mentioned methods
- Experience in robotic‑operated NDI equipment preferred
- Experience in NDI testing various materials such as composite structures, metallics, bonded assemblies, and welds
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications:
PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and computerized workstations - Must have experience in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
This position requires an interim secret clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
BenefitsThe base range for this position in California is $29.01 ‑ $48.91 per hour.
