Nondestructive Testing Inspector Senior; X​/1st shift

• Perform nondestructive inspections using Penetrant, Radiography, and Ultrasonic testing methods
• Set up, operate, and maintain advanced computerized NDT equipment
• Inspect metallic structures, composite assemblies, bonded components, and weldments
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements to ensure product quality
• Support development and continuous improvement of inspection techniques and procedures
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues
• Assist in training and mentoring developing NDT inspectors through on‑the‑job instruction
• Maintain compliance with NAS
  410 certification requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures

Must be able to work any shift or work schedule.

• Minimum of 5 years Non‑Destructive Inspection Testing experience and documented previous NAS‑410 Level II Training and OJT
• Must have certifications in Penetrant (PT), Radiography (RT), and Ultrasonic (UT)
• Must have interim secret clearance to start

• Certification in Magnetic Particle (MT), Eddy Current (ET), Shearography (ST), Thermography (IRT)
• Aerospace experience
• Ability to conduct OJT for trainees
• Penetrant and Magnetic particle experience in aerospace setting
• Ability to develop written techniques and procedures for approval by an NDT Level III
• Must be able to demonstrate and pass general, specific, and practical examinations in the above mentioned methods
• Experience in robotic‑operated NDI equipment preferred
• Experience in NDI testing various materials such as composite structures, metallics, bonded assemblies, and welds
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications:
  PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and computerized workstations
• Must have experience in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)

This position requires an interim secret clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

The base range for this position in California is $29.01 ‑ $48.91 per hour.
