Quality Engineer Sr

We are Lockheed Martin Candidate will be instrumental in developing a Quality Management System to meet AS9100D Standard compliance. This includes collaborating with engineering and manufacturing counterparts to ensure quality requirements and standards are achieved. The candidate will design and implement inspection and testing processes including enabling new technologies based on business case analysis to achieve quality requirements in the most effective manner.
Candidate will perform data analysis and identify corrective action and improvement opportunities. The selected candidate will ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with stated requirements. Areas of specialization may include design, production control, process analysis, product evaluation and reliability, or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. Certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies a plus.

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in STEM
• Composite Fabrication Experience
• Familiarization with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and/or on Machine Probing and metrology analysis
• ASQ Certification
• Fluent in MS Office Suite
• Experience with Agile Methodologies
• Experience with Atlassian Tool Products such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tool suites
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Tools suites
• AS9100
• Six Sigma/Lean Certification
• Model Base Experience (3DExperience/ Team Center/ CATIA V5)
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered:

accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
